Scarsick Review

타이틀 트랙인 Scarsick만큼은 POS 베스트로 꼽아도 손색이 없다고 본다. 그 외 즐겨 듣는 곡이라면 Kingdom of Loss와 Enter Rain 정도일까. Disco Queen 또한 특유의 병맛이 매력적으로 다가오긴 한다.
그 외의 곡들에선 그다지 매력을 느끼지 못했다. 한때는 이 앨범을 걸작 탄생 이전의 실험작 정도로 생각하기도 했지만, 이어진 Road Salt 시리즈는 그 기대를 배반했으니 안타까운 일이다. 이젠 POS도 결성 20년을 넘어선 고령 밴드이다 보니, 더 이상 대단한 무언가를 기대하기 힘들지도 모르겠다는 생각이 든다.

Pain of Salvation za dobu svojej existencie vydali veľké množstvo albumov, pričom niektoré zanechali výraznú stopu na prog. metal-ovej scéne. Nové album "Panther" opäť spĺňa definíciu slova progresívny, to je byť pokrokový, skúšať nové možnosti a nápady.
