Here's my pick of the week, and it is DDDDDDDDDAAAARRRRRRRKK!!!!!!! ANGR was previously one of the many black metal bands to consider giving a listen. With this bloody fantastic album they become one of the essentials. The 1st track is excellent, and the other 2 tracks are a ton better. I enjoyed the guitar solos, reminiscent of David Gilmour. The East Asian element also help make this one unique. A negative point is the intro track being followed by a song that also has it's own intro, a rather rookie mistake on an otherwise beautiful & impressive album.   Sep 8, 2024

It's amazing how in the middle of a 3-minute song I feel like I've been listening for 9 or 10. This music puts up towering walls of darkness around you. It's a great experience and it takes a few listens to figure out how great it is. Also, wow for the cover art.   Sep 1, 2024

It's an okay album. There's some obvious rehashing of their previous songs, and some mid-tier lyric-writing. Those are the only negative points for me, and their just a tad negative. The reggae rock melodies had me in a good mood. Nothing great like the blue album - just okay.   Sep 1, 2024

I don't find it terrible like some people do - just a bit weak. When the metal parts come in it feels like an afterthought, and I feel like the songs don't know the difference between metal and classic rock, with obvious Brian May influence. Poppy's vocal skills and charisma are pretty good, but this stuff is so singer-centered I kind of expect them to be even better. Track 10 was the best song for me. Even better music than Pt. I. A much more concise album at just 38 minutes compared to Pt. I's 51. Pt. II stars off with a powerhouse of a song that has a bit of a heavy metal feel. The vocals on this album are better than Amiensus has ever done. Maybe a bit of practice and tactical writing of the vocal melodies. Major kudos to the band for getting better & better and for creating this fantastic album. My pick of the week.   Sep 1, 2024

The melancholy is excruciating in the best of ways. Some choral parts bring it slightly into symphonic territory. These songs are very good. I was being unrealistic, but I was expecting something even better for the last track because I saw there's a guest from Ellende. Anyway, it was a good song like the rest of the tracks. 90-95. 이 시기의 블가 앨범들은 다 좋은 듯. hansi의 보컬을 더 느끼고 싶어서 사모으기 시작한 앨범인데 그렇다고 나랑 맞는 음악을 하는 밴드가 아닐 수 있었지만 지금까지 몇번들어본 결과는 만족스러운 행진 중이다. the eldar같은 곡은 지금의 나에게는 최고의 곡. 인트로+본곡 같은 스타일로 중복이 되는데 큰 단점같지는 않다. 조화롭게 잘 넘어갔다.   Nov 8, 2024

95-100 2024년까지 나온 오케스트라와의 협연 음반 모든 것을 통틀어 최고다. 다 어설픈 편곡때문에 그냥 원곡 듣고 말지 라는 생각이 드는 반면 이 음반은 최소 제대로 만들어진 영화음악 하나 들었다 할 정도로 편곡자체가 매우 잘 되어 밴드와 오케스트라가 제대로 융화 예상과 달리 스튜디오로 앨범을 냈지만 dvd 2disc를 사면 라이브 시디가 포함되어 있는 듯 하다.   2 days ago

훌륭한 데뷰. 1집을 꼭 사야 할까라는 생각으로 살다가 이제야 얻어걸린 느낌으로 사게 되었다. 물론 1집을 필수라고 여기지 않았지만 후회도 없다. 보컬이 멤버들보다 나이가 10여살 많은 걸로 기억하고 게디리의 좀 더 듣기 좋은 버전이라고 생각이 든다. 다만 믹싱이 마음에 들지 않아서 살짝 밋밋하다. 보컬과 드럼이 살짝 뒤로 간 느낌.리믹스가 절실하나 과연?   Nov 7, 2024
