This was actually the beginning of Alice's comeback and there are some good songs on here like Crawlin' and The World Needs Guts. The only thing that keeps it from being a masterpiece is the use of drum machines. I would like to hear it remastered with actual drums.   Nov 12, 2021

I love the Coop but frankly this is one of my least favorite Alice albums. The concept is great and Alice vocally sounds great but the production is what ruins this album. This seems to be a polarizing album among Alice fans. I personally love it. While it technically is a sequel to his classic, Welcome To My Nightmare album, I actually think this has more in common with his Goes To Hell album. A lot of fun songs on here and Alice sounds great!   Nov 12, 2021

Special Forces came out during what Alice has called his Blackout Years. He recorded four albums during the early 80's he doesn't really remember. He came back a few years later cleaned up permanently and still rocks today. This album is fun. Not his best but there is some hard rocking stuff on here and not a bad album but with Alice you expect more than good, because this man is great!   Nov 12, 2021

프록,퓨전,funk등등 잘 융화시켜서 팝적인 멜로디를 잘 입히는 밴드의 음악. 다만 78분은 좀 긴게 아닌가 싶다. 초반 앨범은 그래도 런닝 타임이 적절, 갈수록 길어지고 있는데 좀 더 간추려서 내도 되었을텐데 라는 생각. 킴벌이 다시 돌아온 앨범 아마 이 밴드는 라이브를 가면 더 진가를 알 수 있을 듯 하다. 지금 현 시점에서는 저니가 좀 더 락적이라고 느껴진다.   Jan 5, 2025
