aux.aura's debut EP. A mix of bird shrieking screamo, emoviolence, and mathy metalcore with the end result being 6 minutes of absolute fuckery (this is a compliment). Definitely not a band/release that everyone will like or be into, mainly due to the vocals.   Oct 13, 2023

My opinion on this album is VERY biased. (Was 15 when it released and was the album that got me into CG.) Definitely has a bit more of a Metalcore-ish sound to it compared to their previous releases but in my opinion this does not detract anything from the album. Rie Tanaka has a fantastic voice and Patrik and Simon are awesome experienced guitarists so combining the three was bound to work well. This release is really nostalgic for me (listened to it a lot during summer of 2014, reminds me of better times in my life) Sound wise this single has some variety: Gravity being a beautiful atmospheric ambient track and améthyste being a creepier ambient track. Then we have the vocal tracks, Libra which is amazing atmospheric metalcore and Dysphoric Torment being pure filth and again, I love it. Favorite Track: Libra   Nov 14, 2022

아무래도 이 1집에서는 많은 이들이 Sweet Child o' Mine을 꼽겠지만, 내게 있어서 이 앨범 최고의 곡은 절대적으로 Nightrain이다. 밴드의 정체성, 색깔, 연주력 등을 한 번에 대변해주는 곡이랄까. 심지어 가사까지 말이다. 같이 늙어간다는 말이 어울리겠지만, 그때의 열정 속에서 Nightrain을 외치고 연주를 하던 그들의 모습은 정말로 젊음의 영웅이자 양아치였다.   Mar 19, 2025
