20분을 채우지 못한 짧은 러닝타임의 EP 데뷔작이지만 오프닝과 클로징에도 많은 신경을 쓴듯 전체적으로 쫀쫀한 짜임새로 당시 즐음했던 작품. 오랜만에 들어보니 밴드나름대로의 색채도 있고 EP전체를 1곡으로 감상해도 좋을 듯.

CD산지가 벌써 10년이 넘었다는 것에 놀랐다. 커버아트에도 반했지만 혹시나 조기품절을 피하기 위해 급히 구매했었던.... 눈코입은 각각 이쁜데 얼굴이 안이쁜 앨범이랄까..구매당시 사운드의 빈약함과 특색없는 여성소프라노의 식상함에 한번을 겨우 들었던 기억. 뭔가 정말 좋은 작품이 될뻔 했었을것 같은데 아쉽다.

부산출신의 '메틀맨'들의 컴필레이션 앨범. 아직 밴드들의 색깔이 뚜렷하지 않고 뭔가 미숙함도 느껴지지만 '혈기왕성'은 액면가 그대로인 앨범. 두번째곡 금개구리가 독특하고 꽂힘.

국내보컬을 해외의 누군가와 비교하긴 어렵지만 김병삼씨의 보컬색은 머틀리의 빈스와 ACDC의 브라이언을 섞어놓은것 같다. 앨범전체적으로는 당시 유행했던 LA메틀풍을 바탕으로 아주 메틀릭하게 소화해내고 있다. 사운드적으로도 큰 왜곡없이 양질의 작품을 만들었다고 생각됨.
