이런 직선적이고 저돌적인 느낌의 스래쉬가 좋다. 동시대의 타그룹의 앨범들과 비교해도 현저히 사운드가 빵빵한 느낌이 나는데 그 당시에 무슨 약칠을 했는지 도저히 모르겠다. 다시 들어도 너무 맘에 든다.

강렬했던 커버아트에 반해 즉각 구매했던...그러나 제대로 꽂히지 않았던 쏠좁블랙. 당시 친구들과 같이 기대감에 들으면서도 헤드뱅잉 안 나왔던건 아직도 큰 아쉬움. 초기작의 명성을 익히 알고는 있지만 본작때문인지 구매욕만 불태우고 실행하지 못하는 아쉬움...

고딩때 4대스래쉬라는 말에 꽂혀 샀던 앤스랙스 초대면작.
그런데 그 당시에 인트로에서 터져나온 짧은 드러밍에 혹했던 것을 끝으로 보컬에서 적응을 못했던 강한 기억.....오랜기간 고이 모셔만 두고 왔는데 한 30년만에 들어보니 또 다른 맛이 나는게 참 희한하게도 나쁘지 않다.ㅎ.,ㅎ

어릴 때 앤쓰랙스의 초기작은 구하기 쉽지 않았던 기억. 통상 최고작으로 평가받는 Among the living앨범도 구하지 못하고 본작을 어디선가 줍줍했던 카피LP.
사운드적으로도 매우 안정적이며 앨범전반에 걸쳐 헤비함을 잃지 않고 앤쓰랙스만의 리듬감을 유지하는 멋진 작품.

보컬색이 바뀐 앤쓰랙스. 리듬감이 훨씬 좋으며 1집과 더불어 공격성 살아있는 듯한 앨범.
엄청들었던 앨범이네요^^ 이 당시는 저도 가장 좋아했던 장르가 스래쉬였는데 그리고 물론 지금도 스래쉬메탈을 엄청 좋아하지만 고전 스래쉬는 다시 들으면 뭔가 허전한게 귀에는 잘 안들어오더라구요~ 딱 옛날 추억으로 좋아한다는 그런 느낌!

나레이션이 많아 자칫 지루할 수 있는 앨범이지만 정말 영화한편 때려주는 듯한 느낌의 멋진 프록롹 앨범. 제프는 오직 이 한장의 작품으로 롹팬들에게 영구회자되는 듯하다. 필 라이뇻의 참가도 눈여겨봐야할 작품.
톰크루즈주연의 영화 우주전쟁이 그 스토리인 작품입니다. 긴장감 넘치는 나레이터는 무디블루스의 저스틴이 담당하는 등 당대 유명 뮤지션들이 대거 참가한 작품입니다.^^;
