기타리스트 Ahrue Luster가 탈퇴하고 Robb과 구면인 Phil Demmel이 들어와서 만든 첫 앨범. 기본적으로 잘 만든 앨범이라는 점은 맞다. 하지만 첫 싱글을 빼곤 거기서 거기인 필링트랙들이 대부분이며 적지않게 3,4집의 느낌이 여전히 남아있어 Imperium과 Seasons Wither를 제외하고는 (전작과는 다른 차원의) 질질 끌리는 기분이 든다. 전작이 졸작이었기에 MH팬들의 기대에 제대로 부응한 앨범이라고는 할 수 있겠으나 단 두 곡만으로 완전한 복귀라고 말하기엔 이르다는 여운을 남긴 앨범.

Burn My Eyes is a great example of Groove Metal done right. The riffs here are awesome, still with a Thrash edge and not too one-note. The rhythm section is full of energy and while there are plenty of midtempo sections, they’re usually filled with interesting drumming, or change up the patterns quickly enough that it doesn’t get too repetitive.
