Coalesce is one of those bands that I would assume had a huge following. It seemed they did in the late 90s. 0:12 Revolution in Just Listening, I felt, was where the band perfected their sounding style. Converge, Cave In and Coalesce were the triple C threat. At times coalesce was my favorite and so I was devastated when they took such a long break and then just disappeared. What a voice on Sean Ingram. Sounds like his guts are about to spew out of his mouth. And his guts are TUFF as shit! This is my favorite release by the band that I wish cranked out more but instead found their place amongst the kings of making people wait, Tool (thank you for Fear Inoculum) and Necrophagist (we're still waiting you assholes).
