고막 다 뭉게놓는 묵직한 뮤트 리프들의 그루브가 끊이질 않고, 눈치 살살 보며 타이밍 좋게 후려주는 드러밍 또한 일품이다. Devourment 활동간에 총 3명의 보컬이 오갔는데, 하나같이 만족스러운 괴물들만 잘 섭외했다. 후두 깊은 곳에서 거터럴 한 사발 끓여내며 넘실대는 그루브에 안착해 뛰어난 조화를 이룬다. 단순히 깔끔한 작곡과 구성 뿐만 아니라 어딘가 딥다크한 분위기까지 잡으며 잔혹함과 묵직함을 배로 증가시켜주고, Devourment의 상징인 Devourment Worm을 활용한 황량한 앨범 커버까지 모든 게 완벽한 슬램 데스 세기의 명반이다.
