1989년 스웨덴 예테보리에서 결성된 이후 정규 여섯 번째 앨범 Damage Done으로 Dark Tranquillity의 이름값에 모자람이 없는 뛰어난 음악을 들려준다. 대부분의 웹진에서 만점에 가까운 리뷰를 부여받는 등 2002년 한해에 최고의 찬사를 받은 음반 중 하나로 기억되었다. Dark Tranquillity의 음악에는 이제 연륜과 여유가 느껴지며 중후한 기타리프를 지나 은은하게 들려오는 키보드사운드는 감동을 배가시켜 준다. 지성과 분노의 완벽에 가까운 조화를 보이는 앨범으로 맥주 한잔을 기울이며 진지하게 들어야만 할 것 같다.
