The Perfect Element I을 통해 이 밴드를 처음 접하게 되었고 상당히 난해한 음악에 당황하고 적응하지 못하고 있더 터에 듣게 된 이 음반은 여전히 난해하기는 하지만 Pain Of Salvation의 색깔을 느낄수 있었다. 또한 난해하고 드라마틱하기만 할것같던 구성에서 느껴지는 정교한 기타 솔로잉과 다른 악기들과의 조화에서는 아름다움도 느껴진다. 특히 A Trace Of Blood 을 통해서 이들과 친해질수 있는 계기가 생겼던것 같다. 보컬도 약간 쥐어짜는 듯한 느낌으로 거슬렸던 부분인데 어딘가 처절하고 애절한 절규가 감정이입이 되기도하며 이 밴드와 정말 잘 어울리는 목소리구나 싶다는 생각도 든다. 이번 앨범도 역시나 철학적인 내용을 담고 있는데 자아발견과 관련된 다양한 이야기를 들려주는데 이해하지 못하는 현실은 안타깝기만 하다.

Pain of Salvation za dobu svojej existencie vydali veľké množstvo albumov, pričom niektoré zanechali výraznú stopu na prog. metal-ovej scéne. Nové album "Panther" opäť spĺňa definíciu slova progresívny, to je byť pokrokový, skúšať nové možnosti a nápady.
