이들의 앨범을 쭈욱 들어보면 재미있는게 앨범의 내용물이 마치 롤러코스터를 타듯 쭈욱 올라가서 좋다가 또 다음앨범에선 내려오고 하는 느낌이 든다. 뭐 이들도 사람이다 보니까 그때그때 컨디션이나 프로듀싱에 따라 음질도 좋았다 나빴다 하는데, 이 앨범은 다시금 4집 앨범(그보단 낫지만)의 텁텁한 기타톤과 드럼 사운드로 상당히 깎아먹고 있다. 외국에서도 지적된 점인데 3번 트랙의 끝 마무리 부분이 연주중 끊어먹는 느낌도 나고 전체 수록곡의 느낌은 전작에 비해 좀 쳐지는 느낌이다.

일단 드럼 소리가 뒷통수를 계속 두들겨대는 맛이 있다. 카니발 콥스에 대해 크게 감명받고 감상하고 있지는 않지만 그래도 시간이 아깝다는 생각은 없다. 가끔은 이런 파괴적인 음악, 음반도 활력소가 된다. 다행히 갖고 있는 4장의 앨범 다 실패없이 팔 일은 없을 것 같다.

무작정 때려부수는것도 아니고 중간중간 조절을 잘해놨다, 뻔한 고어 컨셉이라 질려갔는데 이런 좀비 아포칼립스같은 컨셉도 재미있다.

워낙 유명한 밴드라 라센반앨범으로구해 들었지만, 그저그런 데스메탈... 오히려 나중에 접한 전작인 킬 앨범이 훨씬 좋았다!!!
