Unexpectedly good. Is very reminiscent of other Findeath bands like Convulse and Demigod. Recommended if you're a big OSDM fan like I am. Jan 7, 2016

Best Arsis album hands down, IMO. Jan 4, 2016

I found the melodies to be both gut-wrenching and heart-wrenching. The desperate abysmal guitar sounds make you shiver and ruminate about your pitiful life. Jan 4, 2016

Amazingly tasty and colorful riffs here, imbued by the unique Gothic essence of Tiamat. Simply put, the songs are not for one-time listening. Cause you just can't. Jan 4, 2016

Nazgul's cross-turning evil solo debut album right here. Being blasphemous and raucous as hell(literally) this album shows how well RBM can be done. (P.S. This band is allegedly not NS. Checked it b4 listening!) Jan 4, 2016

Great but at the same time monolithic and measly. Blah. Jan 4, 2016

Now THIS is Thrash Metal. Chaotic and amazing! Jan 4, 2016

This is awesome because it knows how to worry about nothin' in the world, and thrash the hell out like it's nobody's business. Had the last track somehow made its way in another album, I would've given this album a 90. Jan 2, 2016

Who knew that such a barren and frigid winter can bring so much emotional verdurousness? A 5/7 album(anyone get this reference?). Jan 2, 2016

Ryan, you're one crazy sumbitch. That goes for you too, James. Canadians are known to be very chill and "sorey" about everything, but these guys? Sheesh, stay away from these vile lunatics. Dec 30, 2015

Oh man... Life is futile. Life is pointlessness itself. If only had I known this before... Dec 30, 2015

Non-NS Black Metal for NSBM fans. Feel the beauty of the Ukrainian woods and its pristine landscape. Dec 28, 2015

This one sounds like Demilich, Demigod, and Adramelech had an American baby together. Yes, the baby is a genetic freak. Dec 27, 2015

This band probably generates one of the evilest sounds Extreme Metal can ever make. Glorious! Dec 27, 2015

The three words Black, Thrash, and Attack can't describe this album better. Thumbs up!乃 Dec 27, 2015

Alright, this album has some crazed-up vocals with super fast song progression. And ya know, I'm always down for hyper fast Crossover Thrash. Dec 24, 2015

Yes! This is the thang. Not sure why some people are too harsh on this album though. Like, three quarters the full points? Are you outta your moind? Dec 24, 2015

Man that guy's ripped. (0.0) He needs a nail clipper asap though. (On a side-note: I don't know if that's intended or what, but the nails on his hands curve asymmetrically. Kinda cool, breaking up the ordinary I guess?) Oh, about the music; brutal-as-hell Blackened Death stuff, kinda like Revenge and Bestial Warlust. Dec 22, 2015

Kalmah police, arrest this band, cuz this is too gooooooodddd!!! Dec 19, 2015

This stuff makes you wanna sign up for Immigration to Finland. Seriously though, this Extended Play record is fking baller. Dec 19, 2015

This is unexpectedly straightforward. Has a lot of the "mainstream" Death Metal vibes from a few years back. (FFO: Gorguts, Demilich) Dec 19, 2015

Carves out your eyes along with God's. Collateral damage. Dec 19, 2015

An amazing NS Black Metal album. :) Dec 19, 2015

Catchy German Thrash stuff. Clad with some memorable riffs this album is one of those ones you can mindlessly headbang to. (One thing about I love about German bands is listening to their English accent. It reminds me of that scene in Inglourious Basterds where Stiglitz says "Say auf Wiedersehen to your Nazi balls". Anyway, I digress. This is an album worth picking up.) Dec 16, 2015

I'm telling you, these Greeks are one of the most gifted Melodic Black Metal writers. They may face some financial issues but musically no ordinary band can beat 'em. Dec 16, 2015

Yep, this is excellent. Classic Heavy Metal is not really one of my "absolute favorite" genres but this stuff is darn good. The riffs and melodies are pretty much blessed. Dec 16, 2015

If this was released back in the '80s, this would've been a timeless classic IMO. The band manages to reinvigorate the Speed/Black/Thrash hybrid sound of that era perfectly. Dec 16, 2015

An album released 10 years later? F**k that! These guys don't give a damn 'bout pass of time. There is no sound change at all, whatsoever. That means his pretty much rules just like the first release. Dec 16, 2015

Mar 30, 2025

I'm pretty sure this is the best debut in history. Sonata Arctica immediately does what they do best and the result is amazing. "FullMoon" is a great song. Mar 11, 2025

Great album but not at the level of the debut in my opinion. The band tries a bit of progressive direction with pretty good results, although some songs are quite weak. The end of the album is great. Good job Sonata! Mar 11, 2025

DT caught my attention with their previous album and this one confirms my thoughts on them. I´m not so fond of their old stuffs but these 2 keep me on my feet and I will go back to them regularly. Mar 12, 2025

4 days ago

Like "Silence", only 1000 times better. The band's absolute best album. Not all the songs are masterpieces, but the best ones are incredible and the atmosphere of the album is epic. Mar 11, 2025

그 나이에 이게 데뷔앨범 이라는게 믿기지 않는다...다만 이때 모든 힘을 쏟은 것일까...ㅠ Mar 12, 2025

Probably Judas Priest's most commercially successful album, and it's extremely good. The song material is brilliant, and if we forget the existence of "Pain And Pleasure" and "Fever", it's perfect. The "Hellion/Electric Eye" duo is still one of the greatest opening tracks in metal history. The production is tuned to exactly the level that a band of this class should have. And then there's Rob Halford. Absolutely phenomenal, a top-3 Priest album for me. Mar 13, 2025

Rainbow leaves classic hard rock behind with their second album and begins to create the beginnings of the genre that would later be called power metal. The song material is practically perfect and the album features perhaps the strongest band line-up in history. The last two songs are pure masterpieces. If melodic old-school heavy metal with incredible vocal performances interests you, now you know where to look. Legendary! Mar 15, 2025
