Sci-Fi Brutal/Technical Death Metal is one way to put this one. My favorite track is Voxel Mitosis. The sudden breakdown/time signature change is pretty unforgettable. Dec 16, 2015

Drowned by what? You may ask. The moment you listen to this, the crepuscular sounds that drag you down into a sullen abyss of unfathomable depths are bound to give you a first-hand experience. Dec 16, 2015

Weird-ass Brutal Death Metal here! This band makes such a fresh and distinctive but strange sound. This album clocks in at 21 minutes so it's short as fk, but it's definitely worth a spin. Dec 16, 2015
Kildneybean 75/100
What do you call Brutal/Technical Death Metal that is half Deathcore? For a lack of a better word, this album is half Brutal Death Metal, half Technical Death Metal, and half Deathcore. Just like ManBearPig. Dec 16, 2015

I found this album to be terrifying. It builds up this claustrophobic, depressing atmosphere with its agony-filled screams and guitars. And it makes you terrified. I was terrified. We all should be. Dec 13, 2015

Brazillian Death Metal that sounds very similar to its cousin band Krisiun. Absolutely demolishes your bladder. Dec 13, 2015

Honestly this album kicks ass, but it never adds to Infernäl Mäjesty's name (which is a shame). It's simply an album that makes a pleasing listen, end of story. Dec 13, 2015

I'm not gonna lie; the first three songs got stuck in my head after only my first listen. Then as I descended down, listen to listen, getting to know the tracks better, the rest joined the club. Dec 13, 2015
Kildneybean 90/100
I find this album a leap after their fifth release; style, song structure, and all that kind of stuff seems weirdly off compared to the predecessor. In a good way. Some songs take a pretty unexpected path, adding to the fun. Awesome riffs here too. Dec 13, 2015

IMHO the first half starts off great, everything's rollin' off just fine, absolutely amazing work... then it starts to get boring. Fav tracks are tracks 1-3. Dec 13, 2015

Contrary to popular opinion I find this album a bit lower qualitywise. Still it's raw and well-written! Dec 13, 2015

Clandestine Blaze is a Darkthrone-ish band but with one less person and more... "sinew". I should say that Darkthrone writes their melodies/riffs much better, but the thing is this band is one of the best Darkthrone ripoff bands I know of. Dec 13, 2015

I know you sometimes wake up in middle of the night, profusely perspirating, craving for a Blackened Death Metal album that'll soothe and appease you back to a good night's sleep again. Or.. you don't. Just shut up and give this a listen. Dec 13, 2015
Kildneybean 80/100
Eh... Personally I thought there were generally good songs but some deliberate filler parts inbetween them. That being said, the good parts were very well made and I think this album is worth listening to for those intermittent parts alone. Dec 13, 2015

Goodie, wonderful, splendid! Do I love Tr00 Kvlt Black Metal? Goodness me, yes. Ab-so-lute-ly, hun. Ab-so-lute-ly. Dec 9, 2015

It's only a matter of time 'till you're smothered by the hands of two gargantuan droning guitars. Dec 8, 2015
Kildneybean 95/100
Amazing Old School Death Metal work that makes you wish you were born two decades earlier. Dec 8, 2015
Kildneybean 85/100
Death Metal with lots and lots of Groove. It's like a tasty concoction of Old School Death Metal and Groove Metal, in a ratio of 3:1 perrhaps. Favorite track: Low Life. Dec 8, 2015

To truly appreciate Drone, you need to be in the right mind set. Relaxed, think of nothing else than the music emanating through the amps. A euphoric experience will soon settle in. Dec 8, 2015

The decreased usage of English in this album added more to the Viking-esque aspect of the album. Very nice work as always. Dec 8, 2015

Falkenbach is really good at one thing and one thing only: Viking Metal. For years they've put out works of amazing quality. Props to that. Dec 8, 2015

Loved this album personally. There are lots of perfectly crafted & sutured folkish melodies. Vratyas Vakyas is a German only on the facade. Dec 8, 2015

On a few websites this album's rated the best. Personally their debut and sophomore work was better, but it doesn't mean this stuff doesn't rule! Dec 8, 2015

Folkish sounds recreated amazingly well. No, forget what I just said. This ain't "recreated". It's genuine, real authentic Viking Metal! Dec 8, 2015

This, right here, is real Folk Metal, guys. I just love this album, especially the track Heathenpride. Dec 8, 2015

A cold, cold Black Metal journey through the snow covered fjords of Northern Europe. I Shalt Become is a US band that has the spirit of Norwegian Black Metal warriors. Dec 8, 2015

The "Christian" label already starts out taking away points. Then the boring progressions and breakdowns which all sound the same on top of clean-vocal-riddled Deathcore material I've probably heard somewhere else a million times... C'mon, gimme a break! Isn't it time you guys killed yourself already? Dec 7, 2015

Let's get this out of the way: yes, I'm a big fan of Thrash Metal. And when I give a harsh rating on a Thrash album, I both have the feeling of scorn and a sense of room for improvement. That being said, this album, already quite the work, can be improved by a great degree. I just sense that, and I hope the band did too. Dec 5, 2015

This one's kinda like Gorguts gone Blackened. It has quite a few experimental elements that are sprinkled on a heavy smothering atmosphere. The word "abyssal" describes their sound well afterall. PS: the breakdown on Celestial Dictatorship was easily one of the best breakdowns on the history of extreme metal. Friggin melted my face off! Dec 5, 2015

Stoned to the point where you see a hippopotamus pillaging your hometown & noone gives a shit because you're too high and they say "just come back when you've come around" but you believe what you're seeing is true so you tell a shrink what you think and she goes nuts about all the nooks and crannies you've left in the draw bridge. Clear? Dec 3, 2015

Nov 4, 2024

Their most representative album of the eighties, full of innovation and class, with forceful themes and a benchmark in style for the hard rock genre, in fact it is their best-selling work to date! My personal precise rating is (94/100) Faves: Criyng In The Rain and Don´t Turn Away! Oct 30, 2024

완벽하다. 지금와서 painkiller 정도의 힘을 기대하는 것은 무리지만 관록과 경험으로 영그러진 놀라운 앨범을 냈다. 엔지니어링도 크게 한몫했다. Oct 31, 2024
