All Shall Perish의 등장과 The Price of Existence 앨범을 들었을때의 충격을 잊을수가 없다. 점수 자체의 의미가 없는 밴드이다. 지금이야 데스코어라는 장르를 흔하게 붙히지만 이때만 해도 모던 익스트림이란 생소한 정의를 성립하여 지금의 데스코어란 장르로 자리매김 할수 있도록 길을 열어준 밴드가 All Shall Perish이기 때문이다. 메틀코어+데스메탈이라니 이보다 완벽한 크로스오버가 있을까. 내가 메탈을 듣는 이유 그 자체이다. 나에게 있어 All Shall Perish는 누가 뭐래도 데스코어란 장르 그 자체이며 데스코어의 마지막 황제일것이다.
