Rage에게 있어서 데뷔 앨범 Reign of Fear와 후속작 Execution Guaranteed는 전초전에 불과했다. 두 작품은 그저 Perfect Man으로 질주하기 시작하게 되는 Rage를 위한 워밍업에 지나지 않았다. Rage의 전성기는 바로 세 번째 앨범인 Perfect Man에서부터 시작했다 할 수 있다. 이 앨범부터 Rage 특유의 멜로딕한 Heavy Metal이 본격적인 모양새를 갖추었다. Wasteland나 Animal Instinct, Don't Fear The Winter를 들어보면 이러한 평가가 과장이 아니라는 사실을 알 수 있을 것이다. 하지만 앨범에 실린 곡들의 수록시간을 보면 알 수 있겠지만, 곡들은 전반적으로 짧다. 전곡이 3분대에, 고작 한 곡만이 4분대를 넘기고 있다. 이를 보고 추론할 수 있는 사실은, Perfect Man은 이후에 나오는 Rage가 발표한 앨범들의 뼈대에 해당하는 작품이라는 사실이다. 이 앨범의 후속작에 실린 곡들은 이 곡에서 짜낸 방식의 멜로디에, 여기에 곡 구성 부분에 살을 붙이고 가다듬는 과정에서 탄생했다고 볼 수 있겠다. 이후에 발표된 Secrets in a Weird World나 The Missing Link, Black in Mind는 그러한 과정 속에서 만들어진 작품이다. 그러다보니 전반적으로 Perfect Man은 다음에 나오는 걸작들에 비교한다면 음악적인 완성도는 떨어진다고 볼 수밖에 없다. 그러나 Perfect Man이 없는 Rage는 도저히 상상할 수 없다 ... tretie album "Perfect Man" dáva väčší dôraz na Power Metal, ktorý kombinuje občas s Heavy alebo aj Thrash Metal -om. Album je podarené.

스래쉬적 색채보다 파워메탈 색채가 짙어지는 과도기적 앨범. 2집보다 진보되었으나 아직 완성은 되지 않았다. 1집의 스트레이트함에도 아직 미치지 못한다. 하지만 듣기 좋은 수작 앨범임은 확실하다.

어린시절 내 눈을 꽤 사로잡았던 앨범 자켓. 레이지 특유의 곡 구성은 그대로 살아있음. 꽤 높은 평가를 받는 앨범이지만 개인적으로는 도저히 매력을 찾을 수 없음. 사운드는 조악하고 곡의 흐름도 일관성없이 왔다갔다하여 정신 없음. 전체적으로 곡의 만듬새가 미숙해 아마츄어들의 녹음처럼 느껴지기까지 함. 추가로 보컬 스타일도 마음에 안듦

One of Rage's less impressive albums. There's nothing bad here, but the band would reach much greater heights soon. Generic Power/Speed/Thrash.

Don't Fear the Winter 정말 귀가 따갑도록 들었었다. 복잡하고 난해한 구성이 아닌 듣기 편한 멜로디와 수록시간은 짧지만 꽉꽉 들어찬 빈틈없는 사운드로 무장했다.
