Skeletonwitch의 데뷔 앨범 At One with the Shadows도 혼란스러운 앨범이었지만, 후속작은 앨범은 더욱더 혼란스러운 양상을 보이고 있다. 그러한 성향은 프로듀싱이 좀더 자리를 잡으면서 청자의 귀를 혼란스럽게 하는 요소를 완화해주는 역할을 하고 있어 전작만큼 눈길을 끄는 경향은 덜하다. 하지만, 이러한 성향은 젖혀두어도 좋을 것이다. Skeletonwitch는 전작에서도 그랬지만 두 번째 앨범에서도 여지없이 흥미진진한 내용물을 At One with the Shadows에서 들려주고 있다. 강렬한 리프와 빠른 템포, 공격적인 보컬, 북구적인 서늘한 사운드를 비롯한 모든 면에서 이 밴드의 뛰어난 재능이 엿보이고 있다. 이 앨범에서 밴드는 좀더 확고하게 블랙 메탈, 스래쉬 메탈, 데스 메탈의 모든 요소를 결합함으로써 스타일을 확고히 하고 그들의 사운에 독특함과 강렬한 에너지를 불어넣었다. Skeletonwitch는 이후에 더 뛰어난 작품을 보여주지만, At One with the Shadows는 밴드의 싹을 보여준 작품으로 그들의 디스코그래피에서 매우 중요한 앨범이라고 해도 될 듯하다.
