마릴린맨슨 처럼 기괴한 것을 표방하고 싶었던 것인지 다소 욕심을 부린 커버 트랙으로 시작을 하는데, 불경스러움과 사악함은 그로테스크함과 어느 정도 공통점은 있을지 몰라도, 결국 같은 종류는 아니라는게 또 증명되어집니다. 어울리지 않는 사운드로 칠해진 커버곡이 이미 미스인데 바로 뒤에 또 동일곡 라이브가 나온다니 도무지 알 수 없는 배치입니다.   Sep 23, 2024

첫 곡은 6분, 나머지 두 곡은 7분 정도 됩니다. 템포만 늦춘게 아니라 길이도 늘려서 빠져나오지 못하는 무저갱 느낌이 배가 됩니다. Demigod 이나 The Apostasy 에서 보여주던 뚜렷한 리프들이 아닌, 뭉게뭉게 뿌옇게 펼쳐지는 앳모스페릭 맛 사운드로 또 불경스러운 얘기들을 꺼냅니다. 데스메탈 팬들을 만족시켜온 것처럼 둠메탈 팬들까지도 사로잡으려는것 같습니다.   Sep 23, 2024

Some good songs and some mediocre songs, but just skip that last track. Overall, it doesn't have the magic that Streetcleaner did, but I still get a good vibe. Tracks 3, 6, & 9 in particular I want to keep replaying. Good early effort by Godflesh.   Sep 23, 2024

Good album from the prolific Esoctrilihum, but not as good as some releases from 2022 & 2023. For some of these songs, it doesn't have the same lush but nightmarish soundscape he usually achieves, but a scratchier more bracing soundscape. Anyway, it all holds my attention, and it's good to try new things some times. The 12-string was nice addition. Still one of the best things I've heard this week.   Sep 23, 2024

The vocals are particularly bad on this one. If you can get past that, tracks 5 & 7 are so-so. The last track is 9 minutes straight of low-quality clanging sword sound effects, i.e. 9 minutes of garbage. Bad album.   Sep 23, 2024

Some songs such as the first track are great but a lot of them rely too much on the singer and don't really have enough of a raison d'être. The final track, which is a cover song, is done in too quiet of a fashion and I can't get into it. I'd say half the songs are okay but flawed, and the other half is straight up good.   Sep 23, 2024

어쿠스틱 기타, 첼로, 플루트 등을 이용하여 녹음한 어쿠스틱 사운드의 작품이다. 그러나 표현하고자 하는 사운드의 방향성 자체는 무겁고 진지하다. 멜로디가 약간 서늘한 냉기를 품고 있다. 더운 여름에 들으면 시원함을 느낄 수도 있지만 대체로 가을의 분위기에 잘 어울린다. 커버아트와 음악의 매칭이 절묘하다.   Nov 4, 2024

90-95. 이 시기의 블가 앨범들은 다 좋은 듯. hansi의 보컬을 더 느끼고 싶어서 사모으기 시작한 앨범인데 그렇다고 나랑 맞는 음악을 하는 밴드가 아닐 수 있었지만 지금까지 몇번들어본 결과는 만족스러운 행진 중이다. the eldar같은 곡은 지금의 나에게는 최고의 곡. 인트로+본곡 같은 스타일로 중복이 되는데 큰 단점같지는 않다. 조화롭게 잘 넘어갔다.   Nov 8, 2024

훌륭한 데뷰. 1집을 꼭 사야 할까라는 생각으로 살다가 이제야 얻어걸린 느낌으로 사게 되었다. 물론 1집을 필수라고 여기지 않았지만 후회도 없다. 보컬이 멤버들보다 나이가 10여살 많은 걸로 기억하고 게디리의 좀 더 듣기 좋은 버전이라고 생각이 든다. 다만 믹싱이 마음에 들지 않아서 살짝 밋밋하다. 보컬과 드럼이 살짝 뒤로 간 느낌.리믹스가 절실하나 과연?   Nov 7, 2024
