Stargazer is one of the best songs ever. Also has one of the greatest guitar solos of all time. A Light in the Black is another epic track with amazing instrumentals. Tarot Woman starts off the album very well. Starstruck is very catchy. Do You Close Your Eyes is the weakest song on the album. Even that song is pretty good. That shows just how good this album is. Excellent vocals & lyrics by Dio. Ritchie's guitar work is exquisite as usual. A very short and tight album. Aug 26, 2023

One of the best W.A.S.P. albums of the 21st century. Heaven's Hung in Black is one of the best metal ballads ever. The reprise has Blackie's best vocal performance ever. Take Me Up and The Buring Man are excellent catchy songs. Mercy could have been better. Long, Long Way to Go is almost like a thrashy Megadeth song! Track #6 & #7 drag the album slightly. Deal With the Devil is a good rock & roll song to close the album. Aug 20, 2023

The second best album from Bruce's solo career. He topped this one with The Chemical Wedding a year later. Man of Sorrows is my favourite track from the album. Darkside of Aquarius and Road to Hell have a Maidenesque sound and are the other highlights on the album. Taking the Queen and the title track are amazing. The combo of Omega and Arc of Space close out the album really well. The bonus track Ghost of Cain is better than some of the songs on the album! Aug 12, 2023

The weakest Maiden album along with NPFTD. Futureal is a decent short opener. Tracks #2 and #7 are infamous for chorus repetition and bring down the quality of the album considerably. The Clansman is the 2nd best Blaze Era song (Sign of the Cross being the best). Tracks #3, #5 and #7 are decent. Como Estais Amigos is a decent final song for Blaze. Aug 12, 2023

The weakest album of Maiden's reunion era. They took a more progressive turn on this album, especially with the final 5 tracks. The track order could've been better. The production is weak. Some of these songs have much better live versions (Especially The Talisman from En Vivo). Satellite 15 intro could have been a separate track. Isle of Avalon is too long. Coming Home is a good ballad. The Talisman is the best track on the album. When the Wild Wind Blows is a great closer. Aug 12, 2023

Probably the best Post reunion Maiden album after Brave New World. Not a single weak track. For the Greater Good of God, The Longest Day and The Legacy have great lyrics and are the best songs on the album. These Colours Don't Run has some amazing melodies. Track #7 has an amazing riff. It is almost a semi concept album with all the songs being either about religion or war or both. This makes it a very cohesive album. Aug 12, 2023

This album is better than NPFTD. X Factor is better than this. The title track is one of their best. Afraid to Shoot Strangers is excellent. It has some of my favourite melodies. Be Quick or Be Dead is a great opener and is almost thashy! The ballad Wasting Love is decent. Weekend Warrior and The Apparition are among the weakest songs by the band. Judas be my Guide is underrated. Fear is the Key has a very good first half. The second half of the song is unnecessary. Aug 12, 2023

Probably Maiden' weakest album along with Virtual XI. They went for the raw sound of their first two albums on this one and it was a step in the wrong direction, leading to Adrian's departure from the band. They should have continued in the progressive direction they had on SiT and SSOASS. Best tracks here are the title track, Mother Russia, Run Silent Run Deep & Holy Smoke. The Assassin is one of the weakest songs by them. Track #8 & #9 are very cheesy. Aug 12, 2023

If Eternity Should Fail is my favourite track from the album. The intro is very mysterious and opens the album really well. Speed of Light is a generic sounding single. The Red and the Black drags a little during the section with vocals, but the instrumental section is one of Maiden's best. The Book of Souls also has some of the band's best instrumental sections with amazing solos by all 3 guitarists. Empire of the Clouds is a masterpiece. The rest of the songs are decent. Aug 8, 2023

Disc 1 is pretty good, with songs like Atlas Rise, Moth into Flame and Halo on Fire.Atlas Rise has a lot of Hallowed Br thy Name vibes. Disc 2 is abysmal. Spit Out the Bone is the only good song on disc 2. It is also the best song on the album. They were saving the best track for last. The non-album single Lords of Summer is way better than everything on Disc 2 except Spit out the Bone. It should have been on the album. The Deep Purple cover on Disc 3 is also pretty good. Aug 5, 2023

Debut albums don't get any better than this. With some of the best instrumental work, Phantom of the Opera is easily the best track on the album. The live renditions of Running Free and Iron Maiden are way better than the album versions. Transylvania is the band's best instrumental song. The production is much weaker than their next album Killers, but the writing is slightly better. Aug 5, 2023

A fantastic album from top to bottom. Probably the best guitar tone ever! Not a single weak song. Caught Somewhere in Time is one of my favourite openers. It has two of the best Maiden solos. So does Alexander the Great. Adrian is the MVP of this album with 3 writing credits and this album has his best guitar work, with Stranger in a Strange Land & Wasted Years being his best ever. Also has one of, if not the best album cover ever, which is heavily influenced by Blade Runner. Aug 4, 2023

Best Post reunion Maiden album. The first 4 songs are top notch. The Wicker Man has one of my favourite solos from Adrian Smith. Blood Brothers, Brave New World and The Nomad have some amazing guitar harmonies. Not a single weak song here. The Fallen Angel is the weakest. Aug 4, 2023

A pretty good follow up to Operation Mindcrime. This one has more of a Hard Rock sound. The production is great. Silent Lucidity, Jet City Woman, Anybody Listening? and Empire are the highlights. Has too many romantic songs for my liking, especially when they are placed back to back on the track list like Hand on Heart & One and Only. Aug 4, 2023

Load was a much better album than this. Most of the songs on Reload are very generic hard rock songs. Fuel is a great opener and a live staple. The Unforgiven II is too poppy and is the worst of the 3 Unforgivens. Where Devil's Dance, The Wild Things Are and Low Man's Lyric are quite interesting. Fixxer is the best song on the album and is on par with The Outlaw Torn, Bleeding Me and Until It Sleeps from Load. Aug 4, 2023

Definitely weaker than Death Magnetic. More consistent than Hardwired to Self-Destruct. The opener is a little too long. Shadows Follow has the best riff on the album. Lux Æterna is generic but catchy. The last 3 tracks are solid. The chorus of Too Far Gone is very catchy. Room of Mirrors has one of the best Metallica melodies! Inspite of being the band's longest song ever, Inamorata doesn't fell boring. Track #4, #7 & #9 could've been omitted. Horrendous album cover. Aug 4, 2023

One of Megadeth's best Post-Risk albums and a great return to form after two disappointing albums. Great guitar work by Chris Poland and Dave Mustaine. Blackmail the Universe is a fantastic opener. Kick the chair and The Scorpion are the other highlights. Die Dead Enough could have been on a James Bond soundtrack. The Scorpion probably has the band's best chorus ever. Even Shadow of Death has a great guitar melody. My Kingdom is a poor choice for the closer. Aug 3, 2023

My second favourite W.A.S.P. album after The Crimson Idol. An excellent shift in the band direction with more mature lyrical themes. The Heretic is my favourite song from the album and is probably the band's best album opener. It has some fantastic guitar work towards the end. The Headless Children and Thunderhead are the other highlights and have excellent intros. Mephisto Waltz / Forever Free is a fantastic ballad. Not a single bad song here. Aug 2, 2023

A good, consistent album. But doesn't even come close to The Crimson Idol. Scared to Death, Still Not Black Enough, Black Forever and Breathe are my favourites from the album. Keep Holding On seems like a rehashed version of Hold on to My Heart. The track Skinwalker found on some versions of the album happens to be one of the better songs on the album! Aug 2, 2023

A much better album than Helldorado and the Neon Gods and a good return to form for W.A.S.P. Let it Roar is a great opener. Unholy Terror / Charisma is one of the band's best songs with some of Blackie's best lyrics. Evermore is too similar to Forever Free from Headless Children album. Euphoria is a decent instrumental. Who Slayed Baby Jane? and Wasted White Boys are two throw away tracks even though I don't mind the former. Overall a pretty good heavy album. Aug 2, 2023

Probably my favourite W.A.S.P. album after The Crimson Idol and Headless Children. Not a single bad song here. Golgotha is easily the best song on the album and is one of the band's best songs ever. The final guitar solo on Golgotha is also one of the best in the band's catalog. Track #6 is another Highlight and is reminiscent of Chainsaw Charlie from The Crimson Idol. Miss You is another fantastic ballad and could've been on The Crimson Idol. Aug 2, 2023

Best modern Megadeth album. In fact this is my third favorite album by them. Excellent guitar work by Kiko and Dave. The first 3 tracks and Poisonous Shadows are the highlights of the album. The instrumental Conquer or Die is amazing. So is Lying in State. The cover song is the only bad track on the album. Even the bonus tracks Look Who's Talking and Last Dying Wish are pretty good. Nov 26, 2022

2nd best Megadeth album. Way better than the debut. Rust in Peace is better than this. It is dragged down by the horrible cover song I Ain't Superstitious. Highlights: Good Morning /Black Friday, Wake Up Dead, Peace Sells and My Last Words. Fantastic guitar work by Mustaine and Poland. My Last Words and Wake Up Dead have my favorite Mustaine solos. Nov 20, 2022

Not as good as The Chemical Wedding. More consistent than Accident of Birth. But none of the tracks is as good as the highlights from The Chemical Wedding or Accident of Birth. Best tracks: A Tyranny of Souls, Navigate the Seas of the Sun, Abduction and Kill Devil Hill. The bonus track 'Eternal' is also pretty good. Nov 20, 2022

One of the most iconic metal albums. Would have been a better album if Gangland was removed. Best tracks: Hallowed be Thy Name, Number of the Beast and Run to the Hills. Hallowed be Thy Name is probably the best metal song I've heard. Maiden's SSOASS and Powerslave are better than this album as the songs are more consistent on those albums. Nov 20, 2022

Best Priest album. Top notch drumming. Heaviest Priest album when it was released. Painkiller and Touch of Evil have some of the best solos. Best tracks: Painkiller, Touch of Evil, Night Crawler, Hell Patrol. Nov 20, 2022

Best Bruce Dickinson solo album. Better than all the albums released by Maiden in the 90's. More consistent than Accident of Birth. Excellent guitar work by Roy-Z and Adrian Smith. Book of Thel is my favorite track from the album. The title track has the best chorus ever! King in Crimson, The Tower, Jerusalem and Trumpets of Jericho are the other highlights. Killing Floor and Machine Men are the weakest songs on the album. The bonus track Return of the King is pretty good. Sep 30, 2022

One of the best concept albums. I like Queensryche's Operation Mindcrime & Iron Maiden's Seventh Son of a Seventh Son more. Not a single bad song. The Great Misconceptions of Me serves as a great album closer. Highlights are The Great Misconceptions of Me, The Idol and Chainsaw Charlie. Jul 9, 2022

Best Megadeth album. Hangar 18, Holy wars, Tornado of Souls and Take No Prisoners are the highlights. Tornado of Souls & Hangar 18 have the best Megadeth guitar solo sections. Jul 9, 2022

Side 1 is excellent. Side 2 has some weaker songs. Highlights: The Trooper, Where Eagles Dare, Flight of Icarus Feb 3, 2022

Great classic album.I think this is far better than the part 1. Mar 3, 2025

One of the greatest hard rock/metal album.I think this is Coverdale's best album. Mar 3, 2025

Great classic album with incredible songs like "The Evil That Men do","Moonchild" or "The Clairvoyant". Mar 4, 2025

점차 공격성이 사라지고 서정성만을 추구하는 멜데스가 많아질수록 이 앨범은 빛을 발한다 Mar 9, 2025

I'm pretty sure this is the best debut in history. Sonata Arctica immediately does what they do best and the result is amazing. "FullMoon" is a great song. Mar 11, 2025

Great album but not at the level of the debut in my opinion. The band tries a bit of progressive direction with pretty good results, although some songs are quite weak. The end of the album is great. Good job Sonata! Mar 11, 2025

DT caught my attention with their previous album and this one confirms my thoughts on them. I´m not so fond of their old stuffs but these 2 keep me on my feet and I will go back to them regularly. Mar 12, 2025

Very good album by Sonata Feb 26, 2025

Mar 1, 2025

One of their best moments !!! Mar 2, 2025

Mar 2, 2025
