"Metropolis, Pt. 2: Scenes from a Memory" is Dream Theater's undisputed masterpiece and one of progressive metal's most important records of all time. Released in 1999, this concept album is a profound story of reincarnation, murder and love, and takes the listener on a unique musical journey. Although the album's length and complexity may seem demanding at first, it rewards every time you listen, always revealing new tones.

The song material of the album is completely strong and the production is successful. Every member of the band is in full swing: LaBrie's intense vocal performance, Petrucci's phenomenal guitar playing and Portnoy's precise, rumbling drum sound together create a deep atmosphere. "Scenes from a Memory" is not just a listening experience, but a journey – a record to return to time and time again. A perfect concept album and a must-listen for all progressive music lovers.
