현재의 어벤지드 세븐폴드 앨범들 보다 과소평가 된 희대의 명작이자 이들을 메인스트림으로 옮겨준 앨범.
당시 친구의 추천으로 이 밴드를 듣게 되었는데 아직 린킨파크랑 슬립낫에서 벗어나지 못한 나에게는 상당한 충격이었다.

My most played album #434. Avenged Sevenfold - City Of Evil. Sold 2.5 million copies worldwide after people stopped buying records. Amazing. This album did not have the vocal growl that past albums had making it great. The album was ranked No. 63 on Guitar World magazine's "100 Greatest Guitar Albums of All Time".
