Condition Hüman is the second Queensrÿche album with new singer Todd La Torre. The album is full of great songwriting, good melodic metal riffs, soaring vocals & widdly guitar solos. eleven years is quite a long time, especially in the music scene. After such a long time, some groups are no longer able to follow up on the quality of their previous albums. Fortunately, this is not the case of Dragonland who released great Progressive / Power Metal album. After Messiah Marcolin left the band, Candlemass composed and recorded an incredibly strong record with new singer Tomas Vikstrom. He is really an excellent singer with some high notes & is also technically perfect. This is a great album. I'm a big Stratovarius fan, I would even say that I like Timo Tolkki s singing as much as later Timo Kotipelto s. Dreamspace is the last to feature guitarist Timo Tolkki on vocals & this was also the first album that long time bassist Jari Kainulainen performed on. The musicians are at their creative heights and felt free to experiment with whatever they wanted to and you can hear this freedom of choice and courage on this album.   Oct 26, 2022

it's a pity, that this great album is so underrated. Force of Habit takes a different direction, its more Power Metal than Thrash. The production is absolutely amazing, everything sounds like it should. They are focusing on slower songs with downtuned guitars and a number of experimental elements.   Oct 26, 2022

One of the biggest changes on album is replacement of vocalist. Personally, I think that Coburn Pharr (later he also sang Annihilator album Never, Neverland from 1990) was a good singer, but most die-hard fans did not welcome his arrival & also a partial change of bands style. The "Ram It Down" is a very underrated album, but in 1988 in the german Metal Hammer looked like a new classic by the soundcheck.Otherwise the "Ram it Down" and the "Hard As Iron"(with thundering riff) are great fast classic Priest songs. LA메탈의 시작을 알리는 역사적 데뷔작. 빈스닐의 거친 코맹맹이 보컬은 아직 뚫리기 전이고 믹과 토미의 연주도 거칠다. 그런데 합주가 시작되면 니키의 베이스와 어우러져 아주 그럴싸한 곡들이 나온다. 아니, 앨범 전체 곡들의 멜로디가 좋아서 버릴 곡들이 없다. 몇개 히트곡에 의존했던 3,4집과는 수준차이가 크며 2집에도 크게 뒤지지 않는다.   Mar 8, 2025
