the Techdeathrash label is only a portion of what this band offers to the listener. Wondering what the rest is? Check it out by yourself. Nov 1, 2015

The rejuvenation of Deathrash, successfully executed! It is alive, everyone! Nov 1, 2015

Nov 1, 2015

The title track's göddamn amazing, I know, but the other tracks pretty much rule töo. Oct 31, 2015

Straightförward Heavy Metal work done right. Oct 31, 2015

All Hail Lemmy Kilmister! Höly crap this album never gets old. Oct 31, 2015

A full-on Little Böy attack on the '70s Rock scene that was a bit devöid of heaviness. Whö would've known that Fat Man was gonna dröp a year later? Oct 31, 2015

Such a gööd album where Lemmy överkills it just as the title suggests. Oct 31, 2015

Cranial meltdown in five... four... three... tw[face disintegrates] Oct 31, 2015

They've gone more Pop-influenced after their first release. Listening to this album, there were sporadic moments where I wished they hadn't done the chorus this way, or the riffage that way. Oct 30, 2015

Weaker than their debut. Half of the album is good(very good actually), while the other half contains songs that veer away from heaviness. (On a personal note: I have mixed feelings about Metal/Grunge hybrid bands like this.) Oct 30, 2015

One of the best guitar works the '70s British rock scene has to offer. +_+ Oct 30, 2015

The essence of Middle-Earth, consolidated, compressed and converted into awesomeness that takes the form of keyboard-led Atmospheric Black Metal. Oct 29, 2015

This band, I don't know why they don't have more comments. C'mon, this stuff rules! Oct 29, 2015

Pop-ish rock, which is at the same time quasi-Progressive. The songs are extremely well written; lots of '80s rock gems here! Oct 29, 2015

Took quite a few listens for my ears to finally catch all the passing-by riffs and melodies. After the initial getting-used-to phase, it'll be a satisfying experience. (Just so you know: I found myself spontaneously humming the Tordah riff. What a spooky experience. toot toot!) Oct 29, 2015

Definitely heavier than any previous release, 12 Gauge, like the album name, blows your face straight to kingdom come. Will you survive the incoming shower of riffs that pour on you relentlessly? Or will you be shamefully brutalized? Oct 29, 2015

The "awesome melodies" aspect is a never changing factor throughout Kalmah's release history. Kinda feels like The Black Waltz part two. Oct 29, 2015

The songs feel very solid in this release. Not only solid as in good, but musically solid too. If the previous releases were say, "latently" melodic, The Black Waltz feels like the songs are packed in minuscule parcels and delivered right into your eardrums. Oct 29, 2015

Let's take a moment to celebrate the fact that a Thrash Metal album this good was released in 2015. Oct 29, 2015

Japanese Melodic Desu-desu! Jyaakuna sutekisa-desu! Oct 26, 2015

Dude I wanna get my intestines Baaled too, cause this shit's amazing! Oct 26, 2015

This is an album that's really good when you listen to it, but after a listen gives you the impression that you'd rather listen to another good Prog Death album than giving Omnivium one more spin. Every single time. Might only be me, but still. Oct 25, 2015

Love this album. What catches my ears are the low-pitched bass drum sounds that add a layer of groove to the songs. I don't think that's supposed to be a main dish, but it spiced things up a lot for me. Oct 25, 2015

Hey, I just met you. And this is crazy. But here's my number. So Kalmah maybe! Oct 25, 2015

This is quite the approach at Melodeath, giving a different experience from all those other bands out there. The riffs are way more sunken in the songs, rather than being all protruding and sticking out. Oct 25, 2015

Grainy and crude as hell. Even better? It's Tr00 Kvlt! Oct 25, 2015

Mar 30, 2025

I'm pretty sure this is the best debut in history. Sonata Arctica immediately does what they do best and the result is amazing. "FullMoon" is a great song. Mar 11, 2025

Great album but not at the level of the debut in my opinion. The band tries a bit of progressive direction with pretty good results, although some songs are quite weak. The end of the album is great. Good job Sonata! Mar 11, 2025

DT caught my attention with their previous album and this one confirms my thoughts on them. I´m not so fond of their old stuffs but these 2 keep me on my feet and I will go back to them regularly. Mar 12, 2025

4 days ago

Like "Silence", only 1000 times better. The band's absolute best album. Not all the songs are masterpieces, but the best ones are incredible and the atmosphere of the album is epic. Mar 11, 2025

그 나이에 이게 데뷔앨범 이라는게 믿기지 않는다...다만 이때 모든 힘을 쏟은 것일까...ㅠ Mar 12, 2025

Probably Judas Priest's most commercially successful album, and it's extremely good. The song material is brilliant, and if we forget the existence of "Pain And Pleasure" and "Fever", it's perfect. The "Hellion/Electric Eye" duo is still one of the greatest opening tracks in metal history. The production is tuned to exactly the level that a band of this class should have. And then there's Rob Halford. Absolutely phenomenal, a top-3 Priest album for me. Mar 13, 2025

Rainbow leaves classic hard rock behind with their second album and begins to create the beginnings of the genre that would later be called power metal. The song material is practically perfect and the album features perhaps the strongest band line-up in history. The last two songs are pure masterpieces. If melodic old-school heavy metal with incredible vocal performances interests you, now you know where to look. Legendary! Mar 15, 2025
