It's always such a bore sitting through this album. The terrible production also doesn't work in favor of the music, as it makes everything sound weak and muffled. Can't really say I like anything here, but the least worst tracks are "Chamber Of Reunion", "A Higher Art Of Immutable Beauty" and "Mephitic Exhumation".   2 days ago

아무래도 이 1집에서는 많은 이들이 Sweet Child o' Mine을 꼽겠지만, 내게 있어서 이 앨범 최고의 곡은 절대적으로 Nightrain이다. 밴드의 정체성, 색깔, 연주력 등을 한 번에 대변해주는 곡이랄까. 심지어 가사까지 말이다. 같이 늙어간다는 말이 어울리겠지만, 그때의 열정 속에서 Nightrain을 외치고 연주를 하던 그들의 모습은 정말로 젊음의 영웅이자 양아치였다.   Mar 19, 2025

Rainbow leaves classic hard rock behind with their second album and begins to create the beginnings of the genre that would later be called power metal. The song material is practically perfect and the album features perhaps the strongest band line-up in history. The last two songs are pure masterpieces. 블랙메탈이 그들만의 폐쇄적인 자기 만족을 벗어나 좀 더 보편 대중 예술의 경지에서도 받아들여질 방법론이 나타난 걸작. 장르에 하나의 이정표를 세웠다는 측면에서 메탈사에 한 획을 그은 명반으로 기록되지만 키보드를 과잉 도입하여 블랙메탈의 순수성을 더럽혔다는 이유로 원리주의자들로부터 공격도 많이 받긴 했다.   Mar 17, 2025
