개인적으로 "계절의 변화"에서 주로 드럼을 중심으로 감상하는 편인데 마이크는 정말 괴물이라고 밖에 표현할게 없는 미친 리듬감과 박자감 현란함이다. 라이브 직관경험은 없지만 녹음이라해도 그의 창의적 드러밍은 혀를 내두를 만하다. 데릭의 본격데뷔라고도 할 수 있는 본작에서 아직은 나서지 않고 묵묵히 뒤를 받쳐주고 있으며 커버에 욕심많은 드림씨어터의 다양한 음악적 스펙트럼도 엿보기 좋은 ep라고 생각된다.
